Stavanger Gamle houses

Between 100-300 years old, the Gamle houses in Stavanger, Norway have been preserved for locals and tourists to enjoy. Privately owned, the historic, white wooden houses line cobble stone streets lined with colourful flowerpots and bushes.

Flight and evening in Stavanger

Flew from Barcelona to Stavanger Norway via Gatwick. I bought a bottle of wine in Barcelona that was confiscated at Gatwick -- who would have known that you had to put a sealed bottle of wine (which was purchased in Duty Free) in a sealed bag! Jumped on the Flybusen outside of Stavanger airport, which took us directly to the Clarion Hotel where we met Ashley, Brendon, and Stephen for a celebration brew. All of us headed out for an evening of dancing in clubs on the harbour, followed by 3:00 a.m. £10 Whoppers at Burger King. Amazing how the Kroner fly out your pocket here!
