37th President Richard Nixon Library

Lambasted for his Watergate scandal, Former President Richard Nixon is also remembered for normalizing relations with China and the former Soviet Union  in 1972, establishing the EPA in 1970, the 1969 Apollo XI moon landing, desegregation of schools in seven Southern states, and helping the Native Americans establish a policy of self-determination. The library is filled with interesting historical memorabilia, including Nixon's original birthplace home in Yorba Linda.
